An International Student Mentor is a student leader (undergraduate or graduate, international or US student) who volunteers to assist new incoming international students in adjusting academically, culturally, and socially to the United States and to Texas A&M University.

The Mentor will assist in educating new international students about campus and community life as well as Aggie Traditions, while providing a general connection to the University.

International Student Mentors will also be available to answer many of the questions new students may have upon arrival and during their first semester in the United States, and assist with difficulties in communication, social relationships, academics, expectations, and general cultural changes.
